First things first; here are some pictures that should ave been in the last post:

After spending nearly a week on the road, I hadn’t made the progress I thought I would. The cycling was way more exhausting than last year, even though the weather was great. But there was no need to worry, it’s almost 20°C, I’m not in a rush, so I’ll have lots of breaks in between :)

At least I thought so in the beginning. The temperature dropped rapidly and it started raining, the next days there should even be snow. In my enthusiastic summertime mood when packing, I totally gave up on any winter gear what so ever. No surprise, that I didn’t enjoy cycling that much, when it wasn’t sunny. So yesterday I decided to take the train and it was a very comfortable and nice way of getting where I wanted to go, for once.

After the shortcut I arrived today in the Buddhist center Shanta Vana, where I’ll stay the next month. I’m really looking forward to the quietness, sleeping in one and the same place every night, as well as working here and being a part of the small community. The last days showed me just how much I’m used to having people around and how comforting it is to be with like minded people.

In the month of April I’m not sure if there will be any posts. So we’re on the same page on this one ;) I guess we‘ll have to just wait and see. Have a good day, everybody and don’t forget: Even if you feel alone and sad in any kind of situation, there is a whole world with people that love you out there :)
