Here we go again

After a wonderful winter in Vienna, where I’ve found lots of new friends, joy in the snow and yet another place I can call home, it was time to say goodbye.

With a heavy heart I started my next journey by bike on Friday. It was a strange feeling leaving the city and everyone I got to know so well behind. While in Vienna, a new plan formed: There was an opportunity to meet and learn from a wise monk pretty nearby. So I didn’t hesitate to ask, if there is enough space for me in the center, and luckily I may stay and work as a volunteer for a whole month!

Right now, I’m on my way to Shanta Vana, which is near Liberec in the Czech Republic. It will take me some time to get there, since I learned I’m not in the shape of last summer anymore. But for the last 4 days, the road and nature were really nice. So I don’t mind taking it slow ;)

I really don’t know where this summer will take me. The next four weeks will definitely bring a calm and quiet state of mind, so we’ll just see from then :)
